Our dear friend Molly (at left, pictured above with daughter Allison Buehner and husband John Buehner) passed in March 2023 after a long and award-winning career in communications including radio and TV journalism and nonprofit public relations with many leadership roles including serving as our (formerly) Association for Women in Communications chapter president and on the former national AWC board of directors.

Most importantly, we remember Molly for her frequent kindnesses to her colleagues, family and friends in her hometowns of Petersburg and Springfield. She was a light in many lives, always with a word of encouragement, support or appreciation.
Molly made kindness a priority every day. We would like to salute others for their efforts as well. Please nominate someone whose act of kindness made your day.
Awards will be selected by a committee of volunteers.​ Nominees not selected will be reviewed again and considered in the next selection process. Honorees will receive a certificate and small token of appreciation.
