About the Event
Matt McKinney is a Los Angeles-based communications specialist, award-winning former journalist, and proud sixth-generation Central Illinoisan. He was a member of a 2019 Pulitzer Prize-winning team, supporting communications efforts surrounding LA's  first Super Bowl in three decades, and currently serves as an employee communications strategist for the lead developer of the James Webb Space Telescope.Â
A Springfield High School graduate, McKinney holds a  bachelor's degree from Knox College and a master's in Journalism from  Northwestern University.
